Addison Maye-Saxon

About Me

Addison is currently the Principal Trombone of Symphony in C, has subbed as principal in the Princeton Symphony, and has performed with the American Brass Quintet. He won the Aspen Brass Concerto Competition, and went on to perform the Grondahl Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra with the Aspen Conducting Academy. He was a Young Artist in Residence on Minnesota Public Radio, Performance Today, featured in a solo segment. He has been a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival twice, as well as at the Tanglewood Music Center. Though he is not sure where his musical career will take him, he hopes to someday play in a major orchestra that is as happy to have him as he is to be there.
